Deleware County Kennel Club Agility Trial - Gloucester County, NJ (Dream Park): It's Margaret & Dazzle in the Novice Preferred Rings ... In Novice Jumpers Preferred, Dazzle placed first and earned her title leg! This
is her first title, and with that comes a new name, Breezy Hill's Heart N Soul of Islandflats *NJP*. Dazzle is currently training
hard in many disciplines and we're hoping for a litany of new titles in her future!

Lower Camden County
Training Club Agility Trial - Gloucester County, NJ (Dream Park): After nearly a two year hiatus, Margaret & Lylah return
to the agility ring. What a day for Lylah ... in Novice Fast, Lylah placed first and earned her first leg towards that title.
In Novice Standard she finished first and earned her second leg. In Novice Jumpers Lylah placed second and earned her title
leg!
She is now known as CH Islandflats American Pie CD RN *NAJ* CGC. We couldn't be happier!

LEAP Agility
trial - W. Springfield, MA (NEFCRC supported) - Dazzle and Margaret are back in the Novice Preferred rings, where Dazzle earns
a qualifying score and a third place finish in the 20" Jumpers class! They had a beautiful run. For Dazzle it's more training
ahead, and more agility entries. Lets hope Margaret can hold up ...

Dog Agility Club of Long Island - Yaphank, NY:Dazzle competes in her first sanctioned AKC agility trial. Entered in the Novice Preferred division, Dazzle & Margaret earn a
qualifying score and a first place finish in the 20" Jumpers class. We're so proud of young Dazzle. New toys and extra

Mid-Atlantic Flat-Coated Retriever Club Obedience and Conformation Match - Andover, NJ: Islandflats
takes all our dogs on a road trip to support the Club. Under judge Michael Wiest Logan takes Best Veteran, and Best in Match! Dazzle takes Best Adult, and Best of Opposite Sex to the Best in Match! Under judge Janet Mines Krings Lylah performs well in Open
Obedience, and Crystal, Logan and Lylah all do well in Rally-O. We had a really nice time, as we were able to see some
old friends and do fun things with our dogs. Kudos to the MAFCRC!

Logan's Birthday today! 9 year old Logan
spent the day playing and sleeping. Why not? It's his birthday! He has a little more gray on his muzzle, but he still has the spunk
of a much younger dog. Happy birthday Logan!

East Freehold Park - Freehold, NJ: Friday 5/24 - Staten Island
KC dog show: Lylah shows as a Special (Margaret handling) under judge Ruth Ann Freer Godfrey and wins Best of Opposite Sex. On Sunday
5/26 (Plainfield KC dog show) Lylah earns BOS under judge Rita A. Bell. Although the weather was uncomfortable at times, it was a
nice weekend getaway for the Islandflats crew!

2013 FCRSA National Specialty, Conyers GA: The Islandflats crew packs
the car and heads south to Georgia for the flatcoat Nationals! Sweepstakes conformation results (judge: Paddy Engen) - In the Veterans
11+ bitch class, Crystal returns to the ring with Margaret and collects a second place ribbon! In the 12-18 month bitch class, Dazzle enters
the ring and walks away with a fourth place ribbon. In the Regular Veterans 11+ bitch class, Crystal finishes third under judge Dyane
Baldwin. We're so happy that our dogs all had a good time in Georgia and we were so happy to meet up with so many of our friends that
week.
Looking forward to the next Specialty...

They're oficially verterans now ... the Islandflats Rock & Roll "A"
litter turns seven today! We're celebrating Lylah's birthday, as well as her littermates Piper and Rasta, and we'll forever
remember our purple boy, CJ who tragically left us a short time ago. Islandflats now has three veterans in our home! Even
our one year old pup Dazzle is wearing her party hat today!

California: In a tragic accident, C.J. (Islandflats After Midnight - Logan x Crystal b.April 7, 2006) crossed the
Rainbow Bridge. We know that if we can muster a small grin for every time he made people happy, we'll never stop smiling.

Jacob Javits Convention Center - NYC, NY: The American Kennel Club presents Meet the Breeds. Representing FCR puppies, 8 month
old Dazzle meets and greets over 100 spectators who warmly petted, photographed and embraced her along with other FCRs from the
MAFCRC and NEFCRC. Dazzle was a great ambassador to the breed. Although tiring, it was loads of fun for all.

County Fairgrounds - Augusta, NJ: Palasades KC dog show, 10/13 - Dazzle is entered in 6-9mo Puppy Bitches, and Logan is entered in
BOB. Dazzle wins her class, and best FCR puppy under judge Paula Nykiel. Ramapo KC dog show, (MAFCRC Supported Entry) 10/14 - Sweepstakes:Dazzle finishes in second place among Puppy 6-9mo Bitches, and Logan finishes in second place in the Veteran's 7-9yr class under
judge Penny Woodward. The entire Islandflats crew had a great time that weekend in New Jersey.

Association dog show - Oyster Bay, NY: Seven month old Dazzle shows in the conformation ring for the first time. She was the
only class entry that day under judge Sharon Lyons where she was awarded Winner's Bitch and Best Puppy! There were no points earned,
but Dazzle showed poise and gained valuable ring experience, especially in the BOB and Puppy Group rings.

Islandflats is pleased to announce the addition of our newest family member, Breezy Hill Heart N Soul of Islandflats, Dazzle. Our 9-1/2 week old puppy girl will compete in conformation, obedience, agility, and who knows what else? Right now she's learning the ropes. Oh did we mention, she's cute as heck! |
