2010 Thanksgiving Classic, W. Springfield,MA - A New Title! Talcott Mountain Agility Club trials: Crystal earns a qualifying score (4 MACH points) in the Excellent Standard Class, and with that comes the 10th leg and her MX title! She is now known as: TLC Starlite's First Gleaming CD RE *MX* MXJ NAC TN-N RL1 CGC. Our 8 year old girl still loves doing this -- so why not?

Back Mountain Kennel Club dog shows, Bloomsburg, PA - A ribbon raid for the Islandflats crew!

Sat, Nov 6: MAFCRC Supported Entry - In conformation:Lylah wins the Open class and earns Reserve Winners Bitch to the  4 point major. Also, Logan receives a Judges Award of Merit in the competitive BOB competition. The judge was Sandra Goose Allen.  Sun, Nov 7: Crystal (with Terry) competes in Rally and earns her 5th RAE leg with a 4th place finish in the Advanced class. At the same time in the breed ring, Lylah (with Margaret) won the Open class and was also awarded WB/BOS over specials for a 4 point major under judge Eric Ringle. Lylah now has 11 pts with a major towards her championship. Good going Islandflats!

Skyline Agility trials, Yaphank, NY - A big agility weekend for Crystal. Our girl earns her 8th and 9th MX legs, her first 2 Novice Fast legs (each with placements), and 23 more MACH points.

Ladies Kennel Association Agility trials, Old Westbury, NY - Crystal earns her 4th QQ, including her 7th MX leg and another 16 MACH points.

LI Golden Retriever Club agility trials, Yaphank, NY - Crystal earns her 13th MXJ leg (for those who are still counting) and finishes fourth in her class.

Harrisburg KC dog show, Harrisburg, PA: Lylah (handled by Margaret) earns Reserve Winners Bitch to another major under judge Douglas Johnson.

Penn Ridge KC dog show, Harrisburg, PA: Terry handles Crystal to qualifying scores in Rally Excellent, and Rally Advanced for her fourth leg towards her RAE title.

Port Chester / Nutmeg Agility trials, Yorktown Heights, NY: Both days Crystal earned qualifying scores in Excellent B Standard, and two more legs towards her MX title.

Trenton KC dog show, West Windsor Township, NJ - Crystalcomes out of retirement to enter Veteran Sweepstakes, and finishes second in her class under judge Helen Szostak. In the regular classes,Lylah places third in a competitive class, and Logan nearly pulls off a huge victory in the Best of Breed class as he makes the final cut under judge Nancy Cowley. They all showed well, and we're real happy with our dogs' performances.

Agility Association of Central New Jersey agility trials, Toms River, NJ - Keep jumping Crystal ...  On each day, Crystal earned qualifying scores in Excellent B Jumpers and a few more MACH points.

Not too shabby for our 8 year old girl.

LI Golden Retriever Club agility trials, Yaphank, NY - Crystal earns a qualifying score in Excellent B Standard with another Mach point. That's another leg towards her MX title.  Keep up the good work Crystal.

Edison, NJ - A good weekend in the confirmation ring for Lylah ...

Sat, Mar 27 - New Brunswick KC dog show:  Lylah was named Reserve Winners Bitch to a 3 point major under judge Elizabeth Muthard. OK, no points for Reserve, but Lylah showed beautifully and she was next runner up to the winner. Logan participated in Best of Breed, but there was no ribbon for him this time. 

Sun, Mar 28 - Bronx County KC dog show:  Lylah takes Winner's Bitch (WB) and Best of Opposite Sex (BOS) for 2 points under judge James S. Martin. Now we just need to get some majors !
