In January of 2018 the "P" litter was born to Blazin Kennels in Maryland and we were given the opportunity to bring home this handsome flatcoat puppy boy. Again we found ourselves challenged to come up with an appropriate name for him. We're huge baseball fans; always have been.
Hall of Fame pitcher Tom Seaver once had a dog named "Slider" which we like very much and in keeping with the theme of the letter P and baseball, we chose the registered name "Payoff Pitch" and the call name "Slider" - both commom baseball terms.

Slider has the sweetest disposition. He loves to cuddle, which sometimes becomes overwhelming for his human now that he isn't so small anymore.

He won't be stealing any bases, but Slider will be chasing balls, running agility, and we're also showing him in conformation and obedience. Who knows? When he's not being "intentionally walked" maybe one day he'll show a talent for a sport that we don't do much of, and maybe we can all do something new together.

Slider was awarded his AKC Championship title at his first entry to the "Open Dogs" class. He also shows a natural aptitude for Agility. He'll participate in activities that he enjoys, and we're anticipating a lot of fun with him in the future.
