Ginger was our first dog. We adopted our German Shepherd - Hound mix from the shelter in 1988. She died of cancer in 2000. Although we are currently involved in the pure bred dog sports, we'll always retain our fondness for shelter dogs whether or not they're pure breed or mixed breeds.
Our first baby will always hold a special place in our hearts.
